ㅤrule 002ㅤ in character does not mean out of character. My characters' actions and beliefs do not reflect my own, and the FFXIV community needs to learn this in general.

ㅤrule 003ㅤ I enjoy playing by the lore of FFXIV, but I personally do not mind lore bending or filling in the blanks of the lore to fit your character(s) better, but please do not attempt to force your lore onto my characters.

ㅤpriority rulingㅤ Ishgard/Temple Knights divisions, etc. No, your inquisitor or commander or whatever cannot command and expect my characters to follow or listen to your character mindlessly. I follow the principle that actions have consequences, but too many players have created such characters to abuse the IC rank.

ㅤrule 004ㅤ I am open to many roleplay elements, including slice of life, combative, dark themes, nobility themes, dragonsong war themes, up-to-date patch of FFXIV themes, and plot developments.

ㅤrule 005ㅤ I expect roleplay plotting to be open and non-secretive ploys towards my character. If such procedures are followed, I will end the rp and conversation with you and your characters.

ㅤrule 006ㅤ my characters are only in character when the roleplaying tag is on. (rp) Do not attempt rp with my character without the tag showing. However, you may message me to discuss their possible plot development.

ㅤdisclaimerㅤ If I have not covered it, I expect an attempt at common sense when asking me questions for scenes, plots, developments, etc. I am a relaxed and open book and prefer all questions to be above board. If unsure of reaching out to me or my characters, please DM me in-game or on Discord to discuss.

ㅤpersonalityㅤ (Lawful Good) Maxel is a religious person with the values of a Knight. They carry themselves with a noble bearing and pursue justice and protection for those who cannot do either for themselves.
They are often stubborn and sadly naive to specific situations, wishing to see the good in everyone before not trusting them.

ㅤbiographyㅤ Maxel Draking was born within Ishgard of Coerthas during the Dragonsong War with their older Twin, Vance Draking. Both were then separated, though the specifics are lost to time. Maxel’s mother had run away with Vance, leaving Maxel behind with the church, which had taken them in and moved away to an unknown location where the Church had begun a project to raise the perfect knights. Maxel was one of the children raised with grand expectations, which they continue today. They were not experimented on or any of that sort. But raised with Halonic tradition and religion, teachings including training for the Temple Knights.
It wasn’t long before Maxel, as a child, was excelling at the program. Soon becoming a page and attending the scholastic as the church covered the entry, and Maxel was raised as if a few of the priests and priestesses were their guardians, which wasn’t entirely untrue. They were raised, however, to believe this was all because of the church's effort to safeguard them. That their parents wanted nothing to do with them. Maxel bought into it and continued growing happily within the program with a few others.
From Page to Squire to Knight, Maxel excelled expectations and even graduated from Scholastic with honors. It wasn’t till a mission of a rescue was underway that they met someone so familiar yet a stranger, Vance. Their older twin brother. Learning what had happened and the program's true design, Maxel remained quiet. Biding their time to dismantle the program to save families and children. They knew plenty of other Orphanages, and they wouldn’t steal children to brainwash them into the perfect citizens of Ishgard. Now, in the reform of Ishgard, Maxel made their move, having raised a Minor House, taken command of a company of Temple Knights, and now a Judicator within the tribunal.
With the reunion of the two twins, who knows how the story may progress as tensions rise with the alliances of Eorzea and the Dragons? Problems still plague Ishgard and its Nobility, their knights, and the Tribunal, at a constant strain on the reform and laws of Ishgard in a delicate balance. Maxel fights for what they believe in within Halonic law and the reform.

ㅤbiographyㅤ Vance Draking was born within Ishgard of Coerthas during the Dragonson War with their younger twin sister, Maxel Draking. Both were then separated, though the specifics are lost to time– Not to Vance. His mother, Veronica Draking, saved Vance. His Father was falsely accused of Heresy and executed so quickly that the family had no idea what was happening till it was too late. Vance was with Veronica that day, and the flames of the Inquisition knocked down their door. Veronica learned what had transpired and outran the Knights. Fleeing with Vance to the Shroud, they soon boarded a ship and arrived in Limsa. Then, terrified that they were still being chased, they took a boat to Thavnair.
Vance was raised as a merchant at first, but early in his adult life, he took up the blade and fell in with a company of mercenaries. He needed a way to make coins for his mother more easily than selling scrap for scrap. He had trained and fought and brutally lived through his life to not just care for his mother but to find his sister. He knew they were back in Ishgard. He knew they were not dead, not perished with their father. Twins always know.
Finally, raising enough coin and ability of his own through means unknown to most, he left for Ishgard. Finding his sister was easy enough with the ploy of a lost caravan of adventurers traveling to the Slate Mountains. Since the gates had opened, it was too easy to make the travel difficult and soon stop the caravan. It was through luck or perhaps the Twelve that Maxel was part of the troupe of Knights sent to help and rescue the stranded caravan.
But now Maxel knew everything. The moment their eyes met, all settled into place. All was right… Now? He will help Maxel with what had transpired while he also worked to find out what truly happened to their father, making the city safe to transport his mother to the Draking Estate. He has vengeance to carry, if he can keep it from Maxel’s name, however… Is another story.

ㅤpersonalityㅤ (Chaotic Good) Vance Draking is a simple man with simple plans. He prefers to take problems head-on and not stop swinging until the issue is no longer. He is relaxed, however, in most settings, depending on the drinks and company. He has impulsive actions that often lead to arguments or shifty behavior to some eyes. Ultimately, he is a himbo who happens to wield a big sword.
